Game Description
Wave is a first-person 3D roguelike shooter set in a dark, futuristic universe. Players control Rika, a starship pilot traveling across hostile planets to search for her missing parents. By defeating alien creatures, choosing powerful upgrades, and uncovering clues across repeated journeys, players gradually discover the disturbing truth behind Rika’s identity and mission.
Game Mechanic
Players control Rika’s starship from a first-person cockpit and use three weapon systems:
a rapid-fire main cannon, an area weapon that can overheat, and a powerful ultimate weapon limited to once per level.
After clearing waves of alien enemies, players meet NPCs and choose upgrades that strengthen the ship or introduce new risks. If the ship is destroyed, all upgrades are lost, and a new journey begins, allowing players to uncover more of Rika’s story with each run.
